My 10 Responses for nicseventysix

1. What’s your favorite place to be?

Earth. I’m having a pretty good time here. :o)

2. Do you play an Instrument, if yes, which one?

When I was younger I played the clarinet. I was in band from elementary school all the way up until Junior High. When I went on to High School I traded band for chorus.  I still have my clarinet but I haven’t played in ages. I’m tempted to try it out and see If I still remember how to play. It might be time to dust off the old clarinet.

3. If you did a sabbatical, what would you do or where would you go?

If I were to go on sabbatical I would paint and write all day long. I would have more time to build my coaching practice and I would even schedule a trip of two to see some more of the world.  A sabbatical sounds really good right about now. 401906_ballonchik_kraski_kreativ_ruka_krasnyj_zhyoltyj_si_1680x1050_www-gdefon-ru

4. What is creativity for you?

“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.” ― Albert Einstein When we tap into our creativity we open a door to whats possible for us.  Curiosity + Creativity = Living Fully

5. Do you like to write handwritten letters, journals and notes, and if yes, why?

I write hand written letters every chance I get. I love sending letters and cards to those people that mean the most to me. It’s a chance to show them how much they mean to me. I take my time to find the right kind of paper or the right card for each individual. My letters come from the heart. They are important to me because I know they are important to the people that are receiving them. ❤

6. Do you have a Motto or a theme song? images (1)

My motto as a life coach is Dream. Believe. Unlock.  We are all capable of making our dreams a reality. In order to do so we must believe in our own capacities. When we believe in ourselves we find the confidence and courage necessary to unlock all the doors to a better future.

7. Do you have a favorite, Kind of “lift-me-up-quote”?

“There is more to life than simply increasing its speed.”  Mahatma Gandhi  I absolutely love this quote. It helps me to always remember to slow down and enjoy each and every moment. Life is about being fully present.

8. Do you do any kind of Meditation practice?

I try to meditate every morning for at least 10-15 minutes. It really helps to start my day off on the right foot. Meditation helps me to connect with my authenticity.

9. Which song, book or film sticks with you for a Long while already?

The last book I read was the Key to Power and Personal Peace by U. S Anderson. I really enjoyed this book.

10. Which is your favorite kind of landscape? The sea, mountains, Woods or something else? Do have a preference at all?

I’d like to thank tinablogsalot @ HERE’S MY HEART & HERE’S MY MOUTH for presenting me with the Liebster Award.  I am so very touched by this very kind gesture. Responses to Tinablogsalots Questions:

1. What inspired you to start your blog?

I was inspired to write a blog a little over 2 years ago because I wanted to rekindle my passion for writing. As a child I used to write a great deal. It always brought me a lot of joy but like a lot of our interests as children, writing  took a back seat to the responsibilities of adulthood.  Years went by and I hadn’t written anything but papers for college and grad school. I was looking for a way to connect with people on a deeper level and blogging was seemed like a  logical first step. I created ambition in the city to reach out to people that still believed in their dreams. I wanted to help people to reconnect with their capacity to do an be great. As a life coach ambition in the city has become an extension to my practice. I get to coach people all over the world and I get to inspire them to go after their most deepest desires. It’s been an amazing journey and I am grateful to all my lovely readers.

2. How long have you been writing?

A little over 2 years.

3. Your top 3 favorite books.

6. What do you hope people take away from reading your blog?

That our dreams, ambitions, and passions are just waiting to be manifested. We just have to believe in our capacity to create the lives we envision for ourselves.

7. If you could write for any publication, which would it be?

Hay House. One day I’ll have a book deal with them. :o)

8. Your current location and how it inspires your writing.

I live and work in Chelsea, NYC. A longtime hub for the art world, this waterfront neighborhood is also a great place to come for peace and quiet. I love the people and the energy of this vibrant place. There is always something to do and wonderful people to engage with. Chelsea inspires my writing as well as my art.

9. Last concert you attended.

JayZ and Justin Timberlake. This concert was amazing!

10. Where do you see your blog taking you?

I see this blog as a stepping stone to one day writing a book. I also see it as a method to expand my coaching reach. There are no limits to what this blog can ultimately help to manifest. I am enjoying the journey and look forward to seeing where this passion will take me.

Liebster Award: Spreading The Love

I’d like to thank WrittenObsessions for nominating me for the Liebster Award. I am so very grateful for this wonderful acknowledgement. If you haven’t already taken some time to visit WrittenObsessions little home on the web, please do so when you have a moment. She is a university student finding her way through writing and exploring the world around her. Her mission is to “inspire before she expires” and I wish her all the best on her journey towards freedom, truth and beauty. 🙂

Now onto the Rules:

1. You must link back the person who nominated you.

2. You must answer the 10 Liebster questions given to you by the nominee before you.

3. You must pick 10 bloggers to be nominated for the award with under 200 followers

4. You must come up with 10 questions for your nominees to answer.

5. You must go to their blogs and notify your nominees

WrittenObsessions Questions:

1.Where are you on the globe? and If you had to move, where would it be and why?

Uluwatu@baliWhile New York City is my current home, I wouldn’t be completely distraught if I had to move somewhere else. Adventure is the name of game, and I aspire to play with all my heart. If I had to move I think I would move to Bali. This place has been on my radar for quite some time. As a life coach, blogger, and aspiring artist I can ultimately work and create from anywhere. With its beautiful people, vast green landscapes, and rich culture, I believe this place would inspire me each and every day.  In the next few years I hope to visit this magical place and see what an impact it has on me. We never know where life will take us. Be open, be curious, and live it up.

2. Do you believe in the statement ‘Everything happens for a reason’, why?

I am a firm believer that “Everything happens for a reason.” I believe that each choice we make in life determines the course our life ultimately takes. What’s meant to be will always find its way to us because deep down we are magnets for our own fate. Embrace choice and keep moving forward the rest will fall into place as it’s meant to.

“There’s nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be…”
―     John Lennon

3. If you had one wish, what would it be?

My wish is to impact this world in a positive way through my coaching, writing, and artwork.

4. What would you say is your biggest pet peeve?

An unmade bed. While I know sometimes I am the reason why my bed is not made every morning, there is just something about an unmade bed that gets to me. When I come home from a long day of work all I want to do is come home to a freshly made bed with my fluffy pillows all in a row just waiting for me. I commit to making my bed more consistently, now I just have to convince my boyfriend to do the same.

5. Funniest experience of your life?

Not sure it’s happened yet, but I’m always looking for an opportunity to laugh.

6. Who do you cherish the most in your life, do you tell them that you do?

I cherish my family and boyfriend with all my heart. I am a very affectionate person so there isn’t a day that goes by that they aren’t told how much I love them. no_swimming_sign

7. Can you swim?

Unfortunately I am still terrified of swimming. I wanted to learn this summer but have yet to muster the courage to register for swimming lessons. This has got to get done people! I have a trip to the Dominican Republic scheduled for December and I want to swim!

9414e165e069442887b95aae6a5bca618. Do you believe in ‘love at first sight? Why?

I believe in love, however it appears to us in our lives is just fine with me.

9. One thing about your self, we may not know?

I sang Soprano in High School for 4 years and I loved it.

10. If you could advice your younger self, what advice would that be?

Stay the course. You are strong, whole, and completely capable of achieving all your dreams. Keep at it and live it up.
